About Florida Young and the Florida Young Foundation

Florida Young, Founder
Florida Young, Founder of the Florida Young Foundation

Florida Young is a resilient African American female entrepreneur who successfully rebounded after the pandemic disrupted her lucrative career in the trucking industry. Despite the unexpected challenges, she found strength and guidance through invaluable information and mentorship. This support not only helped her restore her for-profit business but also inspired her to transform her passion and purpose into a thriving nonprofit entity.

The Florida Young Foundation was born out of Florida’s personal journey through trial and error, piecing together the puzzle of recovery and growth. Her determination to rebuild her businesses led her to create a resource for others facing similar challenges. Today, the foundation stands as a beacon of support and empowerment for those in need.

During times of global trauma, the Florida Young Foundation emerged as a vital resource, and it continues to flourish in times of triumph. As part of the Spark & Flow national network of nonprofits, Ms. Young extends her expertise to assist other entrepreneurs affected by the pandemic, helping them regain their footing and achieve success.

Join us at the Florida Young Foundation, where we turn adversity into opportunity and help individuals and businesses thrive.
